About David
David is a Brooklyn-based composer, lyricist, playwright, and actor. His work has been seen at The Guthrie (The Parchman Hour, South Pacific, Juno And The Paycock, Crimes Of The Heart, Skiing On Broken Glass, The Royal Family, Sunday In The Park With George), Baltimore Center Stage (Lookingglass Alice, Twelfth Night), Asolo Rep (Ragtime), Theater Latte Da (Spring Awakening, Company, Into The Woods, Our Town, Beautiful Thing, Lullaby, C.), Ten Thousand Things (Romeo and Juliet), The Actors Theater Of Louisville, Project Y Theater, and many others.
He has composed music and lyrics for 7th House Theater's Jonah And The Whale (with Blake Thomas), The Great Work, and The Passage, for which he also wrote the book. The Passage was featured in the 2017 NAMT Festival of New Musicals at New World Stages. He also provided music and lyrics for the fringe hit Rip, and the play-with-music, The Boy and Robin Hood at Trademark Theater.
He is a founding member of 7th House Theater and is married to actor, Cat Brindisi.
